The first trip on the Interceptor for the season was a success!

Saturday we kicked off the 2018 fishing season with the annual Zernia/Luiten family fishing day. We found big swells and big halibut chewing!

After a week of difficult weather we finally another nice day on the water. We were able to make the best of it with some really nice halibut – including these 100 pound twins!

This local’s crew from Girdwood and Anchorage braved some rough weather to catch halibut and rockfish!

Alaska Clearwater Mechanical had an awesome day catching big halibut silvers and rockfish!

Ferguson was back in Seward with more plumbers today. They were greeted by a red-hot Silver Salmon bite and a Salmon Shark that took a bite out of a halibut right at the boat!

The water was rough outside the bay today so we stayed inside and caught salmon and rockfish!

Another nice 130 pound halibut landed on the Pursuit today! 

Crazy good day of halibut fishing today with six fish between 85 and 116 pounds! Plus a limit of silvers!Blue Lingcod
